All About Germany

The Country


Germany is a large country located in the center of Europe. Its official name is the Federal Republic of Germany. The capital city is Berlin, which is famous for its history, art, and modern lifestyle. Germany has the largest economy in the European Union.

Nature and Cities

The landscape of Germany is beautiful and varied. In the north, there are flat lands near the sea. In the south, you can find the Alps, which are very high mountains. Germany is also famous for the Black Forest and the Rhine River. Besides Berlin, other important cities include Munich, Frankfurt, and Hamburg.

Culture and Food

Germans are known for being very organized and punctual. They love bread, and there are more than 300 types of bread in the country! They are also world-famous for their sausages (Wurst) and traditional festivals like Oktoberfest. Germany is also the home of famous composers like Beethoven and great scientists like Albert Einstein.

Cars and Technology

If you like cars, Germany is the place for you. Some of the most famous car brands in the world, like Volkswagen, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz, come from there. The country is a leader in technology and engineering.

  “ Many ” significa “ muito ” e é utilizado para coisas contáveis .  O “ How many ” carrega essa mesma função, mas no papel de pergunta, de interrogação .  Portanto, quando quiser perguntar “quanto” de algo existe e esse algo puder ser contado em unidades, você deve usar o “how many”.    How many  fingers are there in a hand? ( Há quantos dedos em uma mão?) “ Much ” também significa “ muito ”, mas para as coisas incontáveis .  O mesmo se aplica para o “ how much ”, que é utilizado em perguntas sobre a quantidade daquilo que não está dividido por unidades ou outras formas de contagem.
